Dr. David King
Meet Dr. David King, a friendly general dentist at Ballwin Family Smiles in Ballwin, Missouri! Dr. King was born and raised in Liberty, Missouri, and he is a proud alumnus of Central Missouri State University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. With training in music and pre-dental coursework in Biology and Chemistry, Dr. King is a true Renaissance man!
Dr. King is passionate about dentistry and loves working with people to improve their smiles and oral health. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he enjoyed studying dentistry, the body, physiology, chemistry and immunology, pharmacology, and anatomy. He is grateful for the time he spent with his fellow classmates, all of whom were dedicated to service and healing.
When he’s not brightening smiles, Dr. King enjoys spending time with his wife of over 20 years, their five children, and their many furry and feathered friends! Dr. King and his wife own a flower farm, where they cultivate beautiful blooms and enjoy the great outdoors. And did you know that Dr. King is also a talented Jazz trumpet player? He even spent two years living in Taiwan as a full-time Missionary and learned to speak fluent Mandarin Chinese (although he admits he’s a bit rusty these days). Dr. King is a true jack-of-all-trades and a valued member of the Ballwin community!
Dr. Kevin Moreno
Dr. Kevin Moreno, DDS, originally from Fallbrook, CA, embarked on his journey into dentistry after earning his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside. His path led him to Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he immersed himself in the complexities of oral health and dentistry. Throughout dental school, Kevin found joy in the challenges and camaraderie among classmates. Graduating with a deep sense of accomplishment, Kevin is now an active member of the National Association of Seventh-day Adventist Dentists (NASDAD) and the American Dental Association (ADA), committed to advancing dental care.
Beyond his professional achievements, Kevin cherishes his role as the eldest of four siblings and attributes his success to the unwavering support of his parents. Recently married to his wife, whom he met during dental school, they share a passion for dentistry and enjoy exploring hobbies such as hiking, basketball, and culinary adventures in their kitchen. According to Dr. Moreno’s wife, his hidden talents include making anyone he meets feel comfortable and “seen,” always looking out for the little guy. She also notes his exceptional cooking skills, capable of surpassing restaurant-quality dishes. Fun fact: Dr. Moreno speaks both Spanish and English, broadening his ability to communicate with a diverse range of patients. Dr. Moreno’s heart is turned towards people and putting others first.
